Our A2 Desi Cow Ghee is made from the milk of Sahiwal cows, who are grass-fed, not factory-farmed, and have never been crossed, giving our ghee its unique, organic properties.

100% Ayurvedic Bilona Method

We make our A2 ghee by hand-churning it according to a 3000-year-old Vedic tradition known as the Bilona Method. Raw, unprocessed cow milk is boiled in a clay pot, where it is then turned into curd. In order to preserve the nutrients, the curd is also hand-churned from the cooked milk. Separating the butter from the ghee is the last stage.

    Bishnoi A2 Ghee is made from DESI cow's milk. These cows are grass-fed and are not factory-farmed which gives pure desi ghee its special,natural qualities.


    Beta-casein makes up about 30 percent of the protein in cow’s a2 ghee. A2 protein is a healthier choice than A1. Proponents assert that A2 has several health benefitsand makes easier to digest.


    The traditional method of making desi ghee (bilona) is quite elaborate. Cow's milk is boiled & cooled. Then a spoonful of curd is added to this milk and kept at room temperature overnight. The curd is then churned to extract butter from it & then boil it to get Pure A2 desi Ghee.
